Summarize PDF and Word documents directly in the extension.

How to Use​

  1. Go to 5minread.tech
  2. On the dashboard, open the Summary page and select the PDF/DOCX tab
  3. Click the 5minread extension icon on any page
  4. Click the upload button (file icon)
  5. Select a PDF or DOCX file from your computer
  6. Click "Summarize"

Summary Options​

Same options as web page summaries:

  • Summary length — Short, Medium, Full, or Maximum
  • Preset — Choose a summarization style (Standard, Academic, etc.)
  • AI model — Select which model to use (plan-dependent)

Token Usage​

Document summarization uses the same token allowance as web page summaries. Longer documents consume more tokens for processing.
