Ask questions about any summary using AI — available both in the browser extension and in the web app.
Chat in the Extension
Ask questions directly inside the extension popup, right on any page or after watching a video.

- Generate a summary of any page or video
- Click the Ask tab at the bottom of the popup
- Type your question and press Send
- Get an instant AI response based on the page content
Chat in the Web App
The web app offers a full-featured chat panel with conversation history, right inside the summary card.
- Open any summary in the web app
- Click the Chat button (💬) in the action toolbar
- The chat panel expands below the summary
- Ask follow-up questions and continue the conversation naturally
What You Can Ask
- Clarification: "What does the author mean by X?"
- Details: "Tell me more about the second point"
- Comparison: "How does this compare to Y?"
- One-liner: "Give me a one-sentence takeaway"
- Specific data: "What exact percentages are mentioned?"
Chat Features
- Context-aware — the AI reads the full original content, not just the summary
- Follow-up questions — continue the conversation naturally across multiple turns

Chat Limits

Each message (question + response) uses tokens from your daily allowance.
Limitations
- The AI answers based on the original page content only — it cannot browse the web or access external data
- Chat history is tied to a specific summary — switching pages starts a new conversation
- Very long pages may have their context truncated to fit token limits
Tips
- Be specific for better answers
- Reference sections: "In the introduction..."
- Ask for examples if an explanation is unclear
- Use chat to extract exact data points or quotes from the source
